Trauma Therapy and Nervous System Regulation
via telehealth in New York & Maryland
If talk therapy has helped you understand your story, but not fully change how you feel inside, you may be in the right place.
Mission— To provide trauma-informed therapy that supports healing at both the emotional and nervous system level. This work is grounded in neuroscience and tailored to each person’s unique needs, pace, and lived experience.
Sessions may include traditional talk therapy as well as optional body-based and creative approaches to process experiences that are difficult to put into words.
Healing trauma through mind, body, and creative approaches
Healing from trauma requires more than insight—it requires tending to the nervous system, body, and emotions together. This approach focuses on building a foundation of safety, regulation, and resilience so therapy can feel both manageable and lasting.
Whether you are healing from childhood trauma, attachment wounds, grief and loss, chronic stress, or other overwhelming life experiences, therapy can help restore a greater sense of connection to yourself.
Somatic (body-based) and creative approaches, including art therapy, help process experiences that are often held beyond words, supporting deeper healing and lasting change.
Our work is collaborative, paced, and guided by your goals, with an emphasis on developing self-awareness, resilience, and a stronger sense of wholeness.
Therapy may include:
Talk therapy
Somatic therapy (body awareness, movement, and nervous system regulation)
Mindfulness and sensory awareness
Expressive therapies (drawing, painting, mixed media, and clay)
By engaging emotional, cognitive, and physical experience together, this approach supports the brain's natural capacity for healing (neuroplasticity) and creates meaningful, sustainable change.
